Witajcie!
Otrzymałem dyplom z podpisem samego Wojciecha Jaruzelskiego.
W dodatku opatentowany?!!!
Pleaseeeee!.
P.S.
Wężykiem Panowie, wężykiem...
Pozdrowienia
Robert

Admirals outnumber warships in Royal Navy, report shows
The number of admirals serving in the Royal Navy now outstrips the number of
warships in the Fleet, new research has revealed.
By Thomas Harding Defence Correspondent
Last Updated: 4:37PM BST 24 Sep 2008
There are currently 41 admirals, vice-admirals and rear-admirals but with
constant cuts the number of fighting ships in the Navy now stands at just
40.
Since the Government came to power in 1997 the Royal Navy has been steadily
eroded losing one aircraft carrier, six frigates, four destroyers and three
submarines.
The 41 admirals will draw an estimated salary of £6.7 million which would
fund 420 able seamen at a time when the Navy has a substantial shortfall of
1,200 sailors.
The news comes after the UK National Defence Association accused the
Government of "chronic under-funding" of the Navy as a result of repeated
cuts over the last two decades.
On present trends the Navy's Fleet will be "grievously weakened" heading
towards half its current size by 2020 with no air cover for the next nine
years after the withdrawal of the Sea Harrier, the pressure group said in a
report earlier this month.
But Commander John Muxworthy, the UKNDA's chairman, defended the number of
admirals saying they were the equivalent to senior managers who were
necessary to oversee big budgets and construction projects.
"Otherwise it would all be run by civil servants," he added. "What is really
appalling is not that we have 41 admirals but that we only have 40
warships."
The "gold braid" of Navy chiefs is made up of two admirals, six vice
admirals and 33 rear admirals that have increased by one in the last year.
Nearly all the ships and submarines are commanded by officers that are three
ranks below that of rear-admiral.
The Navy is also taking risks in reducing its escort fleet of destroyers and
frigates in order to fund the big projects of two new major aircraft
carriers and the highly-advanced Astute hunter-killer submarine that have £8
billion committed to them. It has already slashed the number Type 45 air
defence ships from 12 to six making the new aircraft carriers vulnerable to
attack.
Ten years ago the defence review said the minimum number of escorting
destroyers and frigates should be 32 yet this has been cut to 25. This
support fleet is expected to shrink to 17 through age and wastage by the
time the first carrier enters service in 2016.
The figures were released in the annual UK Defence Statistics.
The Royal Navy disputed that it had only 40 warships saying that the landing
ships Ocean, Bulwark and Albion, which carry helicopters and troops for land
assaults, would be classed in the same category.
A MoD spokesman said: “The Royal Navy is one of the world’s most powerful
navies with a modern and capable warfare capability.”
